In the realm of acting, Sandhya Shetty has had notable appearances in films like “Bus Yun Hi,” “Kabhi Socha Bhi Na Tha,” the Bengali film “Kaal,” directed by National award winner Bappaditya Bandhopadhyay and Priyadarshan’s film “Nimir.” Her OTT Hindi web series debut in the super hit release “Dharavi Bank” directed by Samit Kakkad on MX Player received great acclaim, where she portrayed the role of Suniel Shetty’s daughter, Parvathy. She also made her Malayalam film debut with the National Award-winning director Priyadarshan’s film “Corona Papers,” where she played the role of Gracy Matthew, a super cop, which garnered appreciation from audiences and critics alike.
In the world of Modelling, Sandhya Shetty’s journey began with her being a finalist in Femina Miss India, which is a prestigious beauty pageant in India. She also achieved the remarkable feat of winning the Ford Super Model competition, showcasing her talent and beauty on an international platform.
Beyond her modelling career, Sandhya’s dedication to fitness and martial arts is evident. She is a five-time state karate champion and an outstanding six-time national karate champion, securing titles from the year 2004 to 2017. Her prowess in karate earned her three international medals, including a gold medal at the Commonwealth Karate Championship in 2015, bronze and gold medals at the SAKF championship in 2017, all of which she won representing India.
Apart from her achievements in the entertainment industry, Sandhya Shetty’s passion for travel led her to host the show “Go India” on Discovery Channel and TLC, sharing her experiences and love for exploring different places. But perhaps most notably, Sandhya is committed to empowering women and driving positive change in society. She believes the empowerment of women will happen when the right to make choices and the ability to communicate and voice her opinion is practised.
As a motivational speaker, she has taken her message of empowerment and self-awareness both nationally and internationally. Her mission, “No Fear: Voice of Woman,” involves conducting self-defence, self-awareness, employment, and education programs to empower women and promote gender equality.

I want the freedom to travel and be able to work in India with all kinds of cinema and also travel internationally and explore Global Cinema.
